Experiential learning in the tech startup ecosystem

The CDL Course

Take advantage of this exciting opportunity. MBA students will work directly with the CDL-Rockies’ ventures and mentors to deepen their understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, interact with capital providers and connect with a global network comprised of some of the most powerful minds in business, science and technology.

Open to MBA students at the Haskayne School of Business and the Alberta School of Business. You must apply for the CDL-Rockies program. Once accepted into the program, students are matched with one of the ventures based on:

  • The preferences of the venture founders (the types of projects for which they are seeking MBA support);
  • The background, skills, and experience of the student and its relevance to the venture; and
  • The preferences of the students.

Each year, CDL-Rockies will welcome a maximum of 75 ventures, approximately 25 ventures from each stream; Prime, Energy and Ag. CDL-Rockies will be seeking approximately 70 highly motivated MBA students to support the ventures in the program.
